What is Our Mission?
The Noble County Community Foundation provides
opportunities for residents and others to make charitable gifts and bequests to improve the quality of life and to benefit
activities occurring within the county and region. The Noble County Community Foundation will become the
recognized leader in gathering and sharing resources that benefit the community.
Why is the Foundation needed?
The Noble County Community Foundation was founded in
January 2005 as a public charitable foundation to provide opportunity for residents and others to make
charitable gifts and bequests to improve the quality of life and benefit activities occurring in the
county and the region. We are building a permanent endowment that will be used to support a
variety of charitable programs to address the current and changing needs of local residents.
Glen B. Taylor Scholarship program
The Noble County Community Foundation (NCCF) is pleased to announce the creation of the Glen B. Taylor Scholarship Fund. Dr. Taylor was a well known local vetinarian who established in his estate a college loan fund for the benefit of Noble County college students. The NCCF over the past year has worked with Peoples Bank, Attorney Cliff Sickler, Probate Judge John Nau and others to re-work the former program into a new scholarship program.
Although high school seniors will be eligible to apply, preference will be given to existing college students, including graduate/professional students. Information on the 2010-2011 scholarship will be posted in the last
quarter of 2010.
For information on the NCCF, including various gifting options, and grant request forms, go to the NCCF’s web site at www.nccfohio.org or call Mike Lloyd at 740-732-5681 or at lloyd.4@osu.edu
